Kinesiology / Active Rehabilitation Services

Kinesiologists are health-care practitioners with an undergrad in Kinesiology and years of experience that use evidenced-based techniques to help you achieve your health and fitness goals. Kinesiology is simply a physical activity plan prescribed for recovery from any condition designated by a health professional.

Treatment Expectations

Our Kinesiologist will use resistance training, cardiovascular training, postural assessments, balance training, range of motion training and health coaching to help you as our client. This is also known as “Active Rehabilitation.”

Here are some examples of what a Kinesiologist brings to the treatment team:

  • Prevention, promotion, treatment, and rehabilitation services in various health facilities including private clinics, like ours!
  • Neuromusculoskeletal and functional evaluations
  • Ergonomics in workplace and occupational health cases
  • High-performance coaching and fitness training
  • Public health promotion
  • Clinical management and coordination
  • Case management for insurance companies
  • Personal training and physical condition coaching
  • Researching
  • Lecturing, instructing, and teaching
  • All other actions targeting the promotion of physical activity and the adoption of a healthy and physically active lifestyle

Our Kinesioligist, Liz Chua, will support both MVA related injury recovery and also help create a plan to support your personal health and wellness goals. You can expect to have treatments with Liz both in-clinic and at a local gym nearby our clinic as your sessions and therapy progresses.
